Camouflaging in Autism Spectrum Conditions in the Context of Self-Esteem Level

People with autism spectrum condition (ASC) sometimes mask the features of autism, and this could be related to their level self-esteem. The aim research was show relationship between intensity autistic features, camouflage Polish versions following tools were used in study: Short Autism Spectrum Quotient Test (AQ-10), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire-CAT-Q. study involved 100 adults (aged 18 52) who divided into two groups based on ASD diagnosis empirical AQ-10 indicators: an group (N1 = 41, declaration indicator AQ ≥ 6; 31 females, 4 males, 6 nonbinary persons, mean age 28.71, sd 8.86); a non-ASD (N2 48, no < 29 17 males 26.14, 9.64). results revealed existence linear severity traits use camouflaging strategies. No found self-esteem other variables; however, some significant differentiation identified due distinguished (low, medium, high).
